Terraria : Intro

Hey all.

Terraria is a Game that you have all probably heard of at some point. It's been called a 2-D Minecraft. both in respect of how it plays and how its exploded in success and fame. There's a reason for the Hype, as Terraria is so very well made and perhaps the most addictive thing since Minecraft. or Heroin.

Terraria is a game where you explore, fight monsters, and build to your hearts content. and trust me, there is a lot to do in this game. Oh, and it has Multiplayer too, which is cool. Now, at face value, Terraria could appear to some as Childish, simplistic and boring. But i find that this is really one of those games where you have to play it to truly understand how good it is. The game is packed with Features and things to do and explore, Wanna dig down in the Earth and find your fame and fortune? sure why not, and what you'll discover on the way are countless caverns, with treasure and dangers untold. perhaps you'll find a Heart Container in the deeps, and that will help you deal with the difficulty and combat in the game (which is very good, for a 2-D side-scrolling, Platforming Build-and-Kill-o-Rama) or perhaps you'll find a Bomb or some Dynamite, and then, if you have room in your fortress of power, a Demolitionist will move in to sell you more explosives. Wanna Blast your way into the earth for the hell of it? Why the hell not? And Speaking of Hell, maybe you'll reach it, and then cry like a little baby when you get decimated by the monsters there.

This is one of those games where you kinda have to find your own way to play, whether it be exploring the Skies or the ground (both of which have equal benefits) or collecting enough stone and whatnot to build a castle the keep monsters out.

Ill keep most of the details a mystery for now, as I've just gone and made a New Character, and a New World for him to dick around in and for me to relay my various misdoings and stuff.

So, you can expect various Screenshots and stories next week, and i hope you look forward to it as much as i do :D

You can pick up Terraria for around 10 Dollars or £5.99 on Steam, and i do recommend it. Updates are more or less on a weekly or monthly basis, and they are generally huge and very, very well done. Support Re-Logic, the developers, as much as possible! you won't regret doing so.

Till Next Time,
Have Fun
